Here’s an interesting development. The new W995, with Media Go™, has an inbuilt BBC iPlayer and links to PlayNow services, and it comes with 60 film downloads as part of the price, available over for a year. It has quad-band and is on O2 in the UK.
What else do you need to know? It has an eight-megapixel camera with face detection, Walkman™ player, 8GB memory and YouTube/Facebook access. Oh, and it comes complete with an MS410 Snap-on Speaker Stand, “providing listeners with a genuine clear audio experience”. It was launched recently in the UK at an event with comedians including Ed Byrne, Tim Minchin and Alice Russell.
