HTC Magic Black

Almost everyone has been talking about the Android phone, and in fact some are saying that 2009 is the year of the ‘Android Phone’. But the way things are shaping up; the so-called Year of the Android has been quiet. And there are only a few phones that have been introduced that you can say as based on the Android design. One such offering this year is the HTC Magic Black.  This is available too as the Google Ion, and the difference between the two lies on the minor cosmetic tweaks done on the latter. The Magic in Black is a big improvement from the earlier G1 by HTC and packs features and capabilities that can challenge the leading smart phones in the market.

The HTC Magic operates on the Android platform and that is one reason why this has been called as the second Google phone or the HTC G2. But this is the only aspect where the two are similar. On all other aspects, we can say that the HTC Magic is different in a number of ways. If in the G1 there was the physical keyboard, the new HTC offering no longer accommodates the physical keyboard. The cutting edge looks of the phone is thanks to the glossy skin and the blue and black color scheme. The phone’s centerpiece is the 3.2-inch touch screen and backed by the 480x320-pixel HVGA display that allows you to scan images and videos in great detail. And if you are not satisfied with the way the display presents the images and videos, then you can always customize the brightness and adjust the backlighting. And as always, you can always personalize the screen by using cool wallpaper. The phone is also known for its handwriting recognition which means that it will be easy to input information and data. This shares the same user interface with the earlier G1. Simply put, the interface spells fun.

Though minor glitches are found, still the HTC Magic in Black delivers what we have been expecting from an Android phone for a long time. You get the right mix of eye-catching and chic design and respectable performance that we have come to expect from an Android phone. This is a comprehensive mobile phone that packs the features and style that further enhance user experience.  And that is the whole appeal of the phone and cap by price many can afford.
